Rams Comics is an award-winning animation and multimedia studio based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The company, which is home to one of South Africa’s most loved online animated series’ was founded in 2015 with the intention of advancing African inspired animation in international markets. Our passion for animation is fueled by a strong desire to showcase the rich diversity, authenticity, and uniqueness of African stories that reflect the melting pot of cultures on our continent.

We created a 28-episode season of the After School series for INSETA, which is a career direction campaign focused on the insurance sector.

Our team created TV ads, billboards, and radio spots for a national campaign, and we also translated them into 11 official languages.

We’ve created many animated videos that are widely shared online, helping to raise brand awareness and reach new audiences.

We have developed and promoted numerous online and transit TV campaigns for various brands throughout South Africa.
ACTIVATIONS
Our mascots have served as ambassadors for the DStv internet campaign and were actively involved in the product activation process.
CONTENT CREATION
We were tasked to produce 22 animated episodes of the adventures of Noko Mashaba exclusively for MTN’s OTT platform.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our team created TV commercials and animated social media content related to climate change and its impact on the environment.
OUTREACH
We developed an animated series about electricity safety and dubbed the animations into 11 official languages for a national campaign.
